Don't blame agents for bungled August polls,  Image: RAILA ODINGA/TWITTER ODM leader Raila Odinga has addressed the issue of recruitment and management of agents during the election period. In a statement, Raila said the issue of agents was not the reason for what he termed as mishandled election or a reason why they lost. Raila said it's not the work of a candidate to guard their votes or make sure the election runs smoothly. “We must appreciate that it's not the responsibility of candidates to protect the vote or conduct a free and fair election. That constitutional duty lies with the IEBC and other relevant institutions,” he said. Raila said he addressed the matter to clear the misconception and attacks of their campaign management team.
