SO CALLED LUHYA UNITY

LUHYA UNITY IS NO LONGER OUR PRIORITY AS MULEMBE NATION. OUR PEOPLE WANT FRUITS OF BEING IN GOVT

Luhyas are united. We marry, we trade, we have never ever had a civil war amongst ourselves as luhyas. The people who are disunited in Luhyaland are our politicians. That's why we have so many kiosks for political parties. The day Mudavadi will close his brokerage firm called ANC and Weta do away with his BUKUSU party and form or join a national party then we will talk of luhya politicians being united. 

What Luhyaland lacks is dynamic leadership. Leadership is not about being in government or not. Leadership is delivering for your community.  I can give an example of Raila odinga who most of his life has been in opposition.  But the few stunts he has had in govt have delivered the following  for his community..

✅Katito-kendubay-homabay-mbita road was impassable when Okiki Amayo was the chairman of KANU??
..but Raila brought kibaki to kendubay and launched one of the best roads in the country.

✅sondu miriu hydroelectric project was a 'complete' project on paper when biwott was minister for energy and Ndolo Ayah never spoke??..but Raila engaged the Japanese government when he was minister for energy to give the project direct funding.it stands to date.the project supplies electricity to the locals and built several schools.

✅ homabay-rongo road was impassable even though oyugi PC was the most feared personality under moi and okwanyo was minister of commerce?
but raila's reign saw it tarmacked and is one of the best roads in nyanza now.

  ✅Mbita bridge was a manually done blockade that cut Lake Victoria into two??it was done by the late Tom Mboya..
but when Raila happened it became a supper modern bridge that water, fish and vessels easily go under.

✅Kisumu was an airport just by the name...
but when Raila made NARC it became and international airport with modern facilities??

-✅Moi killed lake transport in the full view of his Pointmen...Onyango Midika,Omamo Kaliech,Ndolo Ayah,Okiki Amayo,Oyugi K'ogango..and all??.. but Raila's influence is standing it up.soon kendubay,homabay,mbita,asembo bay,lwanda kotieno will all be accessed through kisumu.

✅Modern roads never existed in kisumu when Akinyi Oile and all the KANU hawks ruled the town on moi's behalf??
..but when Raila became,kisumu was elevated to a city,the roads are not only modern but vehicles can even fly over others??

Conclusion

As I write this, there is no comparison in terms of development between  say Vihiga which has been always in govt with say Kisumu, Siaya Homabay or Migori. Its not about luhya unity. It's about lack of leaders who can deliver. 

Mulembe nation does not need luhya unity. We do do not eat luhya unity. Mulembe nation needs a leader who can talk of development fir our people.. jobs and opportunities for our peope.. ( not jobs for their wives, cronnies and Nairobi mates) revival of industries, schools, roads,  etc. If that leader is William Ruto. . We will support him  directly.  We do not need brokers to keep telling us about unity which they themselves cannot achieve in their political class.
