CECM AGRICULTURE PHANICE KHATUNDI DECIDES

Fellow citizens, friends, and the great people of Trans Nzoia County, 

Today, I stand before you not just as your CECM for Agriculture, but as a daughter of this soil — one who has walked with our farmers, listened to our youth, and shared in the struggles and hopes of our communities.

After deep reflection, wide consultations, and an unshakable belief in the power of servant leadership, I, Hon. Phanice Khatundi, hereby declare my intention to vie for the position of Governor of Trans Nzoia County in the forthcoming General Election.

This decision is not born out of ambition, but out of conviction — conviction that our county deserves leadership that works with the people, not above them; leadership that builds opportunity, strengthens agriculture, empowers youth and women, and restores integrity and accountability in governance.

I have seen firsthand the potential of our people — from the resilience of our farmers to the innovation of our youth. What we need now is visionary leadership that converts that potential into prosperity. Together, we can create a county where every farmer earns from their sweat, every child has access to quality education, and every home has dignity and hope.

This is our moment.

This is our journey.

And together, we will rise.

Let us unite under one vision — a productive, inclusive, and prosperous Trans Nzoia County.
