CECM AGRICULTURE PHANICE KHATUNDI DECIDES

Image
Fellow citizens, friends, and the great people of Trans Nzoia County,  Today, I stand before you not just as your CECM for Agriculture, but as a daughter of this soil — one who has walked with our farmers, listened to our youth, and shared in the struggles and hopes of our communities. After deep reflection, wide consultations, and an unshakable belief in the power of servant leadership, I, Hon. Phanice Khatundi, hereby declare my intention to vie for the position of Governor of Trans Nzoia County in the forthcoming General Election. This decision is not born out of ambition, but out of conviction — conviction that our county deserves leadership that works with the people, not above them; leadership that builds opportunity, strengthens agriculture, empowers youth and women, and restores integrity and accountability in governance. I have seen firsthand the potential of our people — from the resilience of our farmers to the innovation of our youth. What we nee...

SPEECH BY HON.PETER SALASYA MUMIAS EAST LEGISLATURE.

Image
SPEECH BY HON. PETER KALERWA SALASYA, MP MUMIAS EAST My fellow Kenyans, My people of Western Kenya—Mulembe Nation, Let me speak plainly today. We, the Luhya community, have stood with Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga through thick and thin. We have voted for him loyally in every election, even when others doubted. We have filled his rallies, defended his vision, and given him numbers. In fact, ODM today has more Luhya MPs than Luo MPs. But when it comes to the table of national dialogue, appointments, and real decision-making—it is the Luo community that benefits most. We are seen during campaigns, but forgotten during governance. That is the painful truth. Enough is enough. Western Kenya is tired of being a voting machine. We cannot continue supporting a system that does not recognize our contribution. If things do not change, let it be known today: 2027 will mark a political divorce between the Luhya community and ODM. Bungoma has already moved on. Trans Nzoia is shifting. Kak...

GENERATION Z PROTEST

Image
GEN Z & milenia protesters highlights critical issues and demands that require immediate attention and action by the Parliament. 1. Economic and Financial Reforms The housing levy is perceived as a slush fund for the executive. We demand its immediate abolition to prevent misuse of public funds. 1.1. Abolish the Housing Levy: 1.2. Remove Exclusions in the Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF): All Kenyans should have access to comprehensive healthcare services without any exclusions under the SHIF. SHIF, just like its predecessor NHIF, should be the most comprehensive insurance fund that every Kenya has and support the achievement of UHC. The current regulation includes a long list of exclusions that should be removed. 1.3. Drop the CAS Bill and CAS Positions: The creation of Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) positions is an unnecessary financial burden. We demand the discontinuation of the CAS Bill and the elimination of these positions. 1.4. Eliminate MP Allowances: ...

Governor George Natembeya Development Progress

Image
POINT BLANK Trans Nzoia people are satisfied with Governor Natembeya's Development Progress. It is said that the true mark of leadership is to change people's lives for the better. A visionary leadership is one that advocates for the people's progress irrespective of how they voted. Governor Natembeya's administration has in many ways lived up to these expectations thus far. Testament to this is the fact that the Governor and his administration have received positive mentions nationally on numerous occasions and have been cited among the top in development progress.  Natembeya administration has brought sobriety in the running of the county affairs, where there was none in the previous regime. It has brought transparency and accountability in the use of public resources, where there was none in the past. It has brought the much needed calmness and peace among county government employees who are the engine of progress at the county level. These, a...

THINGS YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND ABOUT POLITICS AND POLITICIANS

Image
1. Nobody has your interests. 2. Everybody is chasing their own interests 3. Dealing with politicians is like sleeping with hyenas; you must always have your eyes wide open. 4. In any political equation, there’s always someone being used. If you can’t find one, then it is you. 5. Serving politicians is like being a bandage on a wound. Once the wound is healed, your usefulness ends. Politicians don’t recognize and reward value, they recognize their own needs and you are only as useful as the lifespan of their need for you. 6. In Politics never mourn or wail more than the bereaved. They will get the reward while you inherit their enemies. 7. In politics, in any event that other interests conflict with your own interests and you have to choose, always choose yours. 8. Never cross oceans for politicians; you will drown and the best they will do is give a benevolent speech at your burial, lie to your widow or children or parents and eat your food. Politicians will never cross th...

SO CALLED LUHYA UNITY

Image
LUHYA UNITY IS NO LONGER OUR PRIORITY AS MULEMBE NATION. OUR PEOPLE WANT FRUITS OF BEING IN GOVT By TUMA KWA HII NUMBER  Luhyas are united. We marry, we trade, we have never ever had a civil war amongst ourselves as luhyas. The people who are disunited in Luhyaland are our politicians. That's why we have so many kiosks for political parties. The day Mudavadi will close his brokerage firm called ANC and Weta do away with his BUKUSU party and form or join a national party then we will talk of luhya politicians being united.  What Luhyaland lacks is dynamic leadership. Leadership is not about being in government or not. Leadership is delivering for your community.  I can give an example of Raila odinga who most of his life has been in opposition.  But the few stunts he has had in govt have delivered the following  for his community.. ✅Katito-kendubay-homabay-mbita road was impassable when Okiki Amayo was the chairman of KANU?? ..but Raila brought kibaki...
